Network Marketing, as well as MLM prospecting, are ways of engineering a successful business and advertising the business to other people in a way where teamwork is essential. It starts out with you choosing a MLM business product/service. You will join another independent reps organization. This person is usually referred to as your sponsor, upline, or other titles like associate. Once you enroll another member, their title is usually presented as an associate, downline member, or partner.
You enroll with an upline, those who you are enrolled beneath you, with your direct sponsor being your leader. This is the person responsible for enrolling you and the one who will generally help you get started with your new business venue.
Some companies work on residual income, while with others there is a one time profit. You will then build a downline of individuals who have signed up under you, which you will be responsible for helping and guiding along the process of being successful within the company itself. The people who are in your main account are those that you signed up personally, generally labeled as “self sponsored reps”. Further down on the binary tree will be those individuals (your downline) that associates sign up, and these then become part of your team as well.
It is really your choice whether you decide to become involved in this innovative and quickly expanding industry. Many companies out there offer a wide range of services and products, from skin care, to vitamins and herbs, legal advice or distance education, the list goes on and on.
Every company will have you sign up and use the product or service the company is selling. You can then become a marketing executive for that company’s industry. Sometimes this can be more than one industry. Essentially you will be advertising their products or services and being paid commissions for your work. You will then have the opportunity to sign others up to do the same, and earn commissions from their work as well.
There are millions of people who have already joined these companies and many of them, but not all, are enjoying monthly residual incomes anywhere from four to six figures. This means there is a possibility for more financial gain in this industry than in just about any other. Plus, once you have built a large enough downline, you will continue to make a residual income every month, even if you put no further effort into marketing the MLM product or service.
The basis for any network marketing business, is your ability to learn the business and get others to sign up in your downline. First, however, you have to get involved with a powerful upline to avoid running out of leads or getting stuck at a dead end. A great upline is going to train and assist you. They will enable you to achieve the success that they have.
You will need to know how to market effectively to avoid running out of leads. There are many approaches and views of how you do this successfully, with many of them clashing. In the end, you must find the way that works best for you. Good uplines will not simply tell you what to do, they will tell you how they became successful and ultimately let your organization be your responsibility.
