About Me

Hey there! My name’s John Hinkle (obviously, it’s written on my logo). Let me start off by saying welcome and thank you for taking the time to read about myself and expressing  interest in my blog. Let me start off with the “humble” beginnings.

I was raised in a small city by the name of Roanoke, VA, located in the SW part of the state, where I lived a good portion of my child, teen, and young adult life (21 years).

I joined the Marine Corp at the early age of 19, where I specialized in Motor Transport Operations (another name for heavy artillery truck driving). Served my  Marine Corp term for 6 years and got out as a Corporal in my particular field. There were good times and bad, but I definitely acquired the mindset, discipline, and determination within that environment to become the business minded person I am now.

Left good ol’ Virginia back in 1999 to explore more of my wild, adventurous side here in beautiful, sunny Las Vegas, NV.  I have been a resident here for 10 + years and have never looked back. It was quite a culture shock at first, to be quite honest, but Las Vegas has become my true home away from home.

I always had a special interest in computers, but didn’t really begin to expand upon this matter until the internet hatched and AOL dial up was first introduced to the masses. Anyone remember the days where AOL practically owned the online medium? Little did I know, that one day, I would make an entire career and lifestyle based around a at once strange concept of internet marketing. Who would have guess at that moment of time that millions upon millions of entrepreneurs would soon be making  fortunes with this wonderful invention.

In my early 20’s, I was always into sales. Door to door, telemarketing, time share marketing, casino marketing, and also retail marketing. I finally had enough of the sales gimmicks, stress, and mental head games I had to play daily and decided to explore my creative side, thus enlisting into school for graphic design, which later evolved into multimedia/special effects, and video editing.

I had discovered my new passion and was extremely elated over the promise that it would hold for me to not only make a great living for myself, but to finally enjoy my job for once in my life. I graduated in early 2003 with my Bachelors in Graphic Design/Multimedia and minor in Video Editing. I initially wanted to be a movie effects editor or game effects designer, which I soon came to the realization, was a lot more work, long hours, and sleepless nights that I had anticipated, but I still pushed on with the enthusiasm that had got me there in the first place.

Soon thereafter, I received my first job out of school as a 3D architectural renderer for Louis Berger (4th largest architectural company in the US). I fell in love with the job and what I did, but hated the hours, strict guidelines, and power hungry boss that came along with it. This was no place for me to stay for an extensive amount of time so I decided to resign and make a change towards more independent income venues.

The next company I work for, which help nudged me into the career I am into today, was UnionMembersWeb.com. An unstable, yet more independent and lucrative dot com company that help me establish my first glimpse of what real money without limits tasted like, and I must say….I enjoyed the taste.

I helped with the companies new beginnings and ran it with a few partners of mine as the Marketing Director/Web Designer of this newly established firm. Things were great for the next 2 – 3 years, made well over 6 figures a year, until office politics had taken over and mayhem within the company began to commence.

This DOT com company shortly imploded after my resignation and I was stuck with more bills than I could shaked a stick at. Times were rough and thus started, what I call the “Lost Era” of my life. Nowhere to go and had no idea of what I was going to do with my new found life. I had to sell a lot of my toys, vehicles, and  items accumulated during the DOT com era and scrape by on next to nothing for the following few years. The worst part about the situation is……how was I going to go from the money I was making to $15-$20 per hour working another lame office job? I was determined to not make this a reality, so I listened to my own internal voice, pushing me forward everyday……and it clearly stated “Push forward, with all the drive and discipline you can must,  there is wealth of independent money to be made on this medium called The Internet.”

I shortly moved onto a few failed business opportunities with partners of mine that I had worked with in the past. None were reliable and none had any idea of what they were doing and the drive it took to get there. I was determined from that point forward that I would realistically have to run this show on my own. If I was going to make it, it was going to be my motivational fortitude that gets me there.

From that moment on, I read, devoured, and regurgitated every online marketing course known to man. I tested out every tip, trick, and tactic there was to try with little to no results to show for it, simply because I wasn’t giving it my all and  moved from one marketing trick to the next without giving credence to any one particular method. I was suffering from “Paralysis by Over Analysis”. Many new online marketers suffers from this disabilitating disease. Very few survive!

I still continued to push forward, with little money left  in my bank account, I started my first affiliate website. The site, which was my first true independent online endeavor, was fortunately successful. Once I saw that 1st paycheck roll in, I knew that there was something to this whole internet marketing game, and it wasn’t just a fad or gimmick, there was REAL money to be made. All the knowledge I had absorbed would soon pay off in a big way. I then realized that Nike had it right the whole time….there is a lot of truth to their slogan “Just Do It”. Once I had overcome that hurdle of failing and proceeded with action, producing my own paychecks at will had become as easy and subconscious as blinking. It was the cataclysm to my entire online marketing career. I would soon be in my way to true independence…

Many affiliate websites, products, and online establishments have been created since then. Some successful and some not so much. You take the good with the bad, and realize that you never lose because the knowledge you gain from each battle is truly priceless. I come to the realization that you really must to take a few slips and falls before you can truly become a regarded, successful internet marketer. It’s all about pursuing that dream, realizing there is no “easy road”, and driving forward everyday with the confidence and enthusiasm that motivates every successful entrepreneur.

I have currently been online marketing for well over 6 years now and enjoying the freedom, fun, and income that could never be replaced by a  9-5  J-O-B. I am thankful everyday that I chose the career I did and kept pursuing my dreams, even when I thought they weren’t feasible.

I am now working a hybrid of internet marketing and network marketing so that I can help others accomplish their goals and dreams of one day making it within the online realm. By establishing an online business with the residual power and leverage of network marketing, fortunes are created. To work with a group of highly motivated individuals, networking and marketing with one another, while creating an everlasting stream of residual income is something that I have always aspired to obtain.

Every day this dream, I now call a reality has became a true blessing for me, which I hope to share and instill to others.

Let your dreams cultivate into reality, and then and only then will you realized the true potential of what the human mind can accomplish.

Thank you for reading my entry….may you all have have great success and freedom in your life!
